
Natixis CIB Provides $612M Financing for MN8 Energy Solar Projects

What's Happening: Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking has closed a $612 million construction bridge financing package for MN8 Energy to support the development of three solar projects across North Carolina, Kentucky, and Illinois. The financing will enable the construction of 517 MWdc of solar capacity, with all projects expected to be operational by the end of 2025.

Natixis CIB acted as Sole Bookrunner and Administrative Agent for the $612 million debt facilities.
The financing includes a construction bridge facility, a tax-credit-transferability-linked bridge loan, and a letter of credit facility.
The structure provides MN8 Energy the option to refinance the loan in the US Private Placement market.
